STEP Zone - Wrap Around Care

STEP ZONE

The aim of Step Zone- Breakfast and After School Club - is to provide parents and carers with a reliable and consistent service in a happy, secure and stimulating environment for their children. The service is run by a small team of qualified and experienced staff, who are employed by the Trust. They work together to ensure that the expectations of parents and carers are exceeded. The children are introduced to a variety of educational and play-based activities, which are planned to stimulate and encourage development, as well as to teach them to co-operate with each other at work and play.

The cost of Breakfast Club is £1.50 per day for each child. The cost of After School Club is £9.00 per day for each child. In order to book your child in to wrap around care and pay securely, please use Parentmail.

After School Clubs and Activities

Enrich the Curriculum

Clubs, classes and creative sessions provide fun ways for children to play, learn new skills and gain fresh experiences. At Heathfield, we aim to provide a variety of clubs and activities for our children to access. Throughout the years at Heathfield Academy, we have offered a wide range of clubs which our children, parents and staff have requested and suggested.

What our children say about our clubs;

I attend sewing club and for someone who has never done sewing in my life, I have done a good job for a beginner! We are making bags at the moment, so if you want to come and have a try, sign up!  -Lexie

I attend musical theatre. We do singing, dancing and acting! It is fun because you get to share your ideas about making a routine. - Giulia

Enrichment Opportunities

At Heathfield Academy, it is important for us to ensure we are enriching our curriculum with a wide range and variety of experiences for our children and community. We carefully plan out many additional opportunities which enrich what we do in the classroom. Over the years, the
children at Heathfield have experienced many enrichment opportunities which link to their curriculum areas.
