Heathfield Academy opened in September 2015 and caters for children aged 4-11. It is an exciting time, nurturing a school right from the start, and together, in partnership with our enthusiastic staff, parents and the local community, we have developed a dynamic and inspiring Academy where children thrive, love learning and experience personal success.
At Heathfield Academy our focus on curriculum development is carefully designed to ensure comprehensive coverage and progression. When planning the curriculum at Heathfield Academy, we take into account the passions and interests of the children and community we serve, to ensure the curriculum reflects our children.
Enriching our curriculum at Heathfield is extremely important to us and we know that powerful, positive experiences enhance the retention of knowledge and love of learning new things. Therefore, we are commited to providing our children with rich, stimulating and immersive experiences as part of their learning provision.
